Dame Judi Dench (Iris, Shakespeare in Love) stars opposite her real-life husband Michael Williams (Educating Rita) in her first-ever television comedy role, a funny and touching Britcom about a rocky romance between middle-aged misfits. In the nine episodes in Set 2, Laura, a brainy translator, and Mike, a shy landscape gardener, decide to give their romance a try. But even after they move in together, doubts persist. As they bumble through everyday situations that are at once hilarious and true to life, their enthusiasm for commitment waxes and wanes. This is a fine, funny and all-too-real romance.
