When Zach and Annie decide to deliver food to a homeless shelter, they get caught up in planning their rewards. Plato helps them discover the true spirit of giving in "Rocking Horse Land" - about a boy who learns the value of bringing joy to another; "Old Mr Rabbit's Thanksgiving Dinner" - where a rabbit's bounty gives wonderful meaning to the holiday; the "Gift of the Magi" - in which a couple's sacrificial gifts reflect their love; and the purpose of a day well spent, in the poem "Count That Day Lost."
